CCTV Survey Tables

CCTV Survey Tables

  1. Click the plus sign next to CCTV Survey and expand the folders till you reach your desired CCTV Survey Import folder.  Notice that CCTV import data in InfoMaster is a collection of preset, related tables.

Generally, although different inspections types may vary, pipe CCTV tables are in the following format:
    • Inspections - records and associated fields related to the inspection of the pipe
    • Conditions - records of all the defects or observations found when taking the Inspections.  These must relate back to the Inspections table
    • Media_Inspections - tabular data which ties the individual inspection to the location of the video file for that particular inspection
    • Media_Conditions - tabular data which links the individual conditions from the Conditions table to the location of its associate picture media file

  2. Select a CCTV tabular report and click  to open.  Since you are within the DB Editor, this is the best way to quickly change large amounts of CCTV data.  If you do change CCTV data, be sure to rerun the CCTV analysis wizard for the altered CCTV data to update the geocoding, scoring, etc.

Because these tables are based on their associated CCTV inspection standard, it is not necessarily advisable to add/edit fields within these specific tables.

    Inspections Table

Notice that the Inspections table contains an additional toolbar icon ().  The Show Details button can be used to view the associated conditions/defects with each pipe inspection.  The conditions will appear within an IM Dashboard window so they will not be fully editable like the Inspections table within the DB Editor.

    Conditions Tables

Notice the absence of some tools dedicated to the map interface which are not relevant to this table.  This Conditions table within the DB Editor is a great place to do CCTV data cleanup and identify potential errors.

    Media Inspections

This table links CCTV video files to the inspection data within InfoMaster.  This is a good table to help users edit their video mapping/location so that inspections are linked to the correct media file.  Notice that in the example above, all inspections are linked to different videos of different file types, but are in the same location.  This is a simple, straight-forward way to organize your CCTV video files, but InfoMaster can follow relative paths to link to different video locations if desired.

    Media Conditions

The Media Conditions table links pictures or videos to individual conditions/defects.  This table includes fields to link pictures or videos to the conditions table.

Note that Manhole Surveys and Lateral Surveys also have their own custom table structures.  These tables will always be in MACP (for manholes) and LACP (for laterals) format.  Laterals follow the same four table CCTV structure as described above.  Manhole surveys, however, have six tables; two additional tables for manhole connection data and media data associated to the manhole connections.  These additional tables are still NASSCO standard tables.
