Installation Guide
This page provides detailed instruction for installing XPSWMM/XPStorm. If you are not sure which method applies to you, learn more about License Types or contact Autodesk Support.
You should have the following ready before proceeding to install XPSWMM/XPStorm:
For Autodesk Water Software License
Entitlement ID (EID) for local license or network server details where the license is located
A link to download the installers
For Standalone or Floating Network Dongles
The USB dongle
The matching *.xcf file for the dongle

Autodesk Water provides these items to your company contact person. If you could not locate all the items, please contact Autodesk Support.
Download the installer
For most users, regardless of the license type, all you need is the latest EXE installer, which packaged all the prerequisites into a single file, including the Autodesk Water License Administrator.
To download the latest installer, see here and select your required version.
Installation
Before proceeding with the installation, check the System Requirements to see if your computer meets the specifications. Also, visit the Third Party Downloads page to learn about the required third-party prerequisites and database drivers.
