Drawing Area

The InfoWater drawing area or map view displays the actual network schematic. You will use a combination of InfoWater and ArcMap commands to create, modify, edit and maintain your InfoWater projects. You may bring in Base maps and/or other external drawings into ArcMap and use it to help create or further define your distribution system.

Any of the InfoWater elements such as pipes, pumps, valves, junctions, tanks, and reservoirs will be created in the Map View using the InfoWater menu commands. Data will be associated with each of the elements in this drawing. These values will be stored in the special InfoWater database and may be edited at any time. Each data element type has a different symbol. For any of the different available InfoWater commands, refer to the InfoWater help file.
