Edit Selection Attributes

The Edit Selection Attribute dialog box allows you to edit any field from a graphically selected set of InfoWater data elements.

To run the Edit Selection Attribute command, from the InfoWater Control Center →  InfoWater button →  Edit menu, select the Edit Selection Attributes command. Drag a selection window across the screen to select the data elements for editing in the Edit Attribute table. The Edit Selection Tool is also available on the InfoWater Edit Network toolbar.

  Save Current Tab - Saves any changes made to the current data element tab.

  Save All Tabs - Saves any changes made to any of the records contained within the data element tabs.

 Geometry Data - View or hide the fields associated with element geometry (as seen in the Model Explorer - Attribute Tab).

  Information Data - View or hide the fields associated with the element information table (as seen in the Model Explorer - Attribute Tab).

  Modeling Data - View or hide the fields associated with the element modeling table (as seen in the Model Explorer - Attribute Tab).

 Output Data - View or hide the fields associated with the element model output table (as seen in the Model Explorer - Attribute Tab).  Since these fields are based on model output, they cannot be edited with the Edit Attribute dialog box.

 Sort Ascending - Sorts the table rows in ascending order of values in the current (highlighted) column.

 Sort Descending - Sorts the table rows in descending order of values in the current (highlighted) column.

  Block Editing - Edit the values of all selected cells in a single column with a single operation. You have 6 operation options when block editing.
