Map Display - Label Properties

The InfoSewer Map Display feature may be used to annotate your map. To learn more about color coding and/or changing symbol sizes click here.

Element Type

Specify the element type that you want to color code and/or vary symbol sizes here. InfoSewer projects consist of 7 different element types including Manholes, Chambers, Outlets, Wetwells, Pipes, Forcemains and Pumps. For example, to color code the manholes on your map display specify manhole as the Element Type.

Show Label

Check this option to display the labels with the color coded display.+

Show Unit - Check this box if you want to display the Unit when annotating your Map with data values.

Title - Specify the label prefix if desired.

Label - Specify a label suffix if desired.

Label Settings

Specify your label properties settings.

Symbol - Specify the Symbol font, text size and color. Clicking on this button launches the Symbol Selector dialog box. This dialog box may be used to specify the font type, font size and color. Additionally you may also choose advanced formatting options here.

Reset - Returns label settings to the default size and placement.

Placement - Choose the placement position for your label here.

Open - Opens a saved color code settings file.

Save - Saves the color code settings to a file for later retrieval.

OK - Saves all changes and exits the Map Display dialog box.

Cancel - Cancels all changes and exits the Map Display dialog box without saving any changes.

Apply - Apply any changes to the Map Display settings and continue with the Map Display dialog box. 

Use Save and Open to save and retrieve color code settings for a single data element type (pipe, manhole, etc.) to a file.

Note: Color Coding will NOT work for a domain. InfoSewer will always color code the ENTIRE network.
